Job description

Guy Salmon Land Rover Northampton are looking for Future Talent to grow and develop our busy workshop team.

We are offering enthusiastic and proactive individuals looking to start a career in the Motor Industry, the opportunity to join us as an Apprentice Vehicle Technician. For the right candidates this is a chance to work for the UK’s largest automotive company, whilst representing the iconic Jaguar Land Rover brand. An apprenticeship with us give successful applicants the chance to develop their own skills in all aspects of vehicle maintenance and repair work, whilst working on some of the world’s most sought after vehicles.

You will be working in a workshop within a busy team environment, constantly representing the brand and its values by exceeding our customer’s expectations and delivering an unparalleled level of service and quality. During your time you will  spend time at one of the Jaguar Land Rover academy, where you will be putting the theory into practice, the academy is set up with the latest technology and you will only work on product vehicles!

On completion of your apprenticeship with us you will be a fully qualified Land Rover Technician, which is just the start of your career with us!

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
To join the programme, applicants must possess or demonstrate that they're predicted the following GCSE level (or equivalent) grades and that they are aged 16 or over.

GCSE (or equivalent) grade A*-C or 9-4 in Maths, English and Science.
In Scotland, applicants must have or be predicted to achieve National 4 or above in English, Maths and either a Science or Technical subject. Standard Grades 1-4 and Intermediates are also accepted.
'Equivalent' includes:
BTEC first diplomas and certificates
OCR Nationals
Key Skills Level 2
NVQs
Essential Skills (Wales)
Functional Skills Level 2
Core Skills (Scotland)
