About the role
Mercedes-Benz of Bristol has a fantastic opportunity available for a Dealership Accountant to join their team.
The Dealership Accountant is responsible for all aspects of the accounting function at the site including the preparation of monthly management accounts, forecasting, budgeting and providing focussed value adding support to the Head of Business and operational management team. Sales ledger, purchase ledger and banking support will be provided by the accounting hub team. An Assistant Accountant will be recruited to support on site and provide additional resource for this busy, high volume business.
Sytner Accountants work a variety of flexible patterns between Mondays – Friday; however this sometimes can include weekends to ensure we provide our customers with the highest possible levels of service.
Previous experience and a good working knowledge of all accounting routines is required. Knowledge of the Keyloop/Kerridge Dealer Management system and Microsoft Office is essential as is previous automotive experience in a similar role.
Ideally you will be enthusiastic, well organised, diligent, and able to work to strict deadlines whilst paying attention to detail and working both as an individual and as part of a small team.
