About the role
Sytner Group has an exciting opportunity for a West Midlands based Health and Safety Advisor.
As a Sytner Health and Safety Advisor, you will deliver monthly on-site support visits and work closely with local site stakeholders. You will ensure that the latest Health and Safety requirements for all our colleagues, visitors, contractors and premises are adhered to.
The successful candidate will report to the Group Health & Safety Manager. This is a full time, regional role so you must be prepared to travel with occasional overnight stays.
Ideally, you will have previous Health and Safety experience in the automotive industry and a good knowledge of relative and current Health and Safety legislation requirements. Experience in a retail motor dealership business is desirable but not essential.
You should hold a NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety and be committed to on – going self-development / CPD.
To be successful you will need to be a fantastic communicator, have good computer skills, and the ability to make a difference by colleague engagement, coaching and support.
