Consumer buying trends have changed, especially with Smartphone’s, tablets etc changing how customers carry out their research. The paperwork with regard to Sales has got easier believe it or not, due to the introduction of emailed insurance covernotes to tax cars, texting capabilities from our customer database and for me just experience and practice of doing my job has made the processes easier, even in difficult times over the last couple of years. Repeat business has also been a contributor.
For someone who wanted to become a sales person, what key skills would they need?
Enthusiastic, self-motivated, friendly, organised, a good listener, ability to multitask and to know the product.
What is your favourite part of your job?
I enjoy the build up to closing a sale; the anticipation and the sales process that leads up to it.
Three words that sum up the people in your team?
Tea loving fun.
