Showroom Enquiry Executive - Guy Salmon Land Rover Knutsford

Job title

Showroom Enquiry Executive

Guy Salmon Land Rover Knutsford.

How long have you worked for Sytner Group?

14 years.

How has your job changed in that time?

My role was a fairly unique position when I first started, so I have been able to help develop the role and help others who have also taken up the position elsewhere. It’s a brilliant way to get to meet all the customers and I have made some really good friends along the way. I have also been involved with organising fundraising events and working with the local community and the local school - where we have created a wildlife garden at the dealership, so it’s definitely a fun place to work!!

For someone who wanted to become an Enquiry Executive, what key skills would they need?

They would need patience, good organisational skills, good listening skills, good sense of humour, and being a good talker helps!

What is your favourite part of your job?

I absolutely love making new friends and when customers come back to see me year after year it really does give me a boost. I even have customers who come to see me every year with plants and flowers for the wildlife garden we have here!

Three words that sum up the people in your team?

Driven, passionate and committed.

If you could take one item to a desert island what would it be?

Hair spray – lf you saw my hair you would see why this is essential!

Favourite saying?

“Fridge pickers wear bigger knickers”.

Things you like?

Chocolate!! I love going for lots of walks (to burn off the chocolate) and I love astronomy. I love spending time with my family and friends.

I will never been seen without...

Hairspray …..and also my camera - I’m always on  the look out for a good photo.

Favourite TV programme

Wild at Heart – although there are many others!

Unknown fact?

I’ve been awarded a Gold Wildlife Friendly Garden award for my garden at home.
