BMW and MINI Divisional Talent Manager - Sytner Group (Field Based)
How long have you worked for Sytner Group?
This time round… 8 months but initially started working for Sytner Group in June 2001!
How has your job changed in that time?
I started temping on reception and then joined as an employee whilst at university as weekend/holiday receptionist. When I graduated I took on a marketing role and then a year or so later a field based marketing role. I did this for many years before taking on the responsibility of HR/CRM Manager. After a short break away from Sytner Group I returned as Talent Manager for the BMW/MINI Division.
If someone wanted to become a Talent Manager, what key skills would they need?
People skills are a must! HR and recruitment experience is key as well as self-motivation and organisation.
What is your favourite part of your job?
Giving people opportunities

Great sense of humour. Supportive. Respectful.
