"I have worked for Sytner Group for over ten years. I graduated with a degree in marketing and my career since then has been automotive focused. Before joining Sytner I held marketing roles at a vehicle manufacturer and a vehicle auction group. I come from a family of automotive engineers and designers, so this was my own spin on following the family tradition!
I’m very biased I know, but I think the Digital marketing team is one of the most exciting places to work in the company. Every day there is a something new to investigate, from a new piece of technology, to another change in the ‘Google rule book’ that all digital marketers live by!
My role is to define the digital marketing strategy for the Group and ensure that we support the 40+ strong Group wide marketing team in performing their digital marketing activities. We cover the whole digital piece; from website development, to e-mail campaigns, from social media marketing to the darkest depths of Google analytics.
The most interesting thing we are working on at the moment is a fully integrated ROI tool, to allow us to more accurately understand the effect that our Digital marketing activities have on enquiries and sales into our businesses.
This will be a real game changer for us, in terms of understanding where we should most effectively direct our marketing spend. This kind of information is every Marketing Manager’s dream, so it’s an exciting time for our team!”
