University of Leicester 'Old Boys Dinner'
Sytner Group employ over 1, 000 people in Leicester across our head office and 6 dealership locations. We were looking for an opportunity to partner with top Universities in the East Midlands to ensure that we have high calibre graduates who are ready to launch their career in our various graduate and undergraduate intern programmes. The Sytner Group is a ‘One Team’ business, and we have found that our future employees with experience in competitive sport or team environments embrace this ethos.
Jon Fryer (Head of Business – BMW Leicester) and Paul Hudspith (Group Recruitment and Talent Manager) were delighted to attend the Leicester University Rugby Club Annual ‘Boy’s Dinner’ at the City Rooms on 12th November 2016 and were invited to give a presentation to the club on the history of Sytner and the exciting career opportunities which they can follow.
They were delighted to meet a number of committed and professional students who had a real passion for team environments and embraced the competitive nature of sport and business.
Sam Cranswick - ULRFC Club Captain commented:
“I just wanted to send my thanks to you on behalf of both Josh and myself, the Committee and everyone involved with the club for coming last night to our Old Boy’s Dinner and also for your continued support as our sponsors for this season. It was a tremendous success and we were proud to be able to display our sponsorship to both our current members and Old Boy’s, and allow them to learn more about Sytner as a company too. We are very excited for this partnership to develop over the coming months and hopefully years.”
Sytner Group will be attending the Leicester University careers event in early 2017 where we will be looking to launch our Summer Undergraduate Intern programme, so watch this space for more information!
